Saljuq Haider - Partner

Saljuq is a commercial litigator and holds a Masters Degree in International Commercial Law. He joined the firm in 2005 having previously worked in banking litigation in a large city firm, acting on cases involving contentious situations, including derivative cases and loan/security recovery. He now advises on a range of commercial disputes and high value corporate debt recovery matters, specialising in contested actions relating to spreadbetting on shares and commodity markets. His cases focus on complex contractual disputes sometimes involving multiple parties and cross-border issues. Saljuq acts for a number of spreadbetting companies, banking and lending institutions, insurance companies and major suppliers to the building and construction industry.

Saljuq has considerable experience of running high value trials including those in the Commercial, Mercantile and Technology & Construction Courts. He has also been involved in mediation and other dispute resolution procedures.
