Karen Savage - Head of Group

Karen is Partner and Head of the Banking & Finance Group.

Karen has specialised in debt and asset recovery throughout her career. She is the CEO of the Fast Track Team, responsible for its day to day management ensuring that debt recovery services are delivered both efficiently and cost effectively to our clients. Under Karen’s leadership Fast Track has grown and now handles up to 20,000 cases at any one time. Managing this caseload requires not only significant expertise in the law but the ability to harness our IT to meet the needs of clients in a responsive way. Karen is also noted for her exceptional client care skills and prides herself on being available at all times day and night to provide support and advice to Fast Track’s national and international clients.

• Karen holds a Masters Degree in Advanced Legal Studies which involved research into the commercial debt recovery sector
• She was named Litigation Specialist of the Year at the 2004 Credit Today awards
• Karen is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management

Recent work

• Project manager for the development and implementation of Fast Track’s innovative new case management system which will radically extend the range of services available to our clients
• Managing 3000 new cases for a substantial institutional client involving transfer from previous solicitors, interrogating the client’s IT system for the data required for litigation action, marshalling the resources to deal with the work and ensuring that the client’s detailed reporting needs were satisfied
