19/08/2008 - Maternity - October 2008 New Rules
Under these new rules women will be entitled to the same benefits during Additional Maternity Leave as they receive during Ordinary Maternity Leave.
Eg If they are entitled to keep their company car during OML they will be entitled to keep it during AML.
In other words, terms and conditions of employment (except as to remuneration and pension contributions) should be the same during AML as during OML.
This change only applies to women whose babies are due on or after w/c 5 October 2008.
