02/05/2012 - Lester Aldridge completes 1,000th instruction for McCarthy & Stone

Lester Aldridge has undertaken its 1,000th instruction for residential developer McCarthy & Stone.

Lester Aldridge undertakes land acquisition, planning, infrastructure and other work across England and Wales for McCarthy & Stone and the 1,000th instruction related to a site in Cardiff for new assisted living retirement flats. To date, Lester Aldridge has acted for McCarthy & Stone in the acquisition of over 400 development sites.

Mark Benham, Partner at Lester Aldridge, comments: "Our Real Estate team have worked with McCarthy & Stone since the 1990s on sites from Cornwall to Northumberland and everywhere in between and we are delighted to have completed our 1,000th instruction for them.”

Over the past 30 years, the McCarthy & Stone Group has become Britain's leading builder of retirement apartments, constructing more than 40,000 homes for more than 45,000 customers. The company has its headquarters in Bournemouth, as well as six regional offices around the country.

The two companies celebrated the 1,000th instruction with ‘A Grand Day Out’ of clay shooting at Bisley in Surrey.
