Leading South Coast law firm Lester Aldridge is delighted to announce it has taken on six graduate solicitor apprentices.

The graduate solicitor apprentices, all based at the firm’s Bournemouth office, are Fiona Kirkpatrick, Freya Rowe, Phoebe Rowe, Benjamin Temblett, Kerry Bosher and Oliver Jarvis.

Solicitor apprenticeships offer an alternative route for people wishing to qualify as a solicitor. The apprentices will work 4 days a week at LA with a day release for study allowing the apprentices to “earn while they learn” and gain practical experience at the same time. The apprentices will sit the new super qualifying examinations at the end of their apprenticeship.

Matthew Barrow, Managing Partner at Lester Aldridge, said: “I am excited to welcome our first intake of solicitor apprentices. As well as offering graduates the ability to earn a salary while preparing for the SQE exams, it also gives our apprentices the chance to develop the skills and competencies required for working as a solicitor at LA.”
